| What you are looking at here is a 1/25th scale 1975 Hurst Oldsmobile. Very rare! I doubt if there is another one like it built as a model car. Extensive work went into this one. I started with a 75 Cutlass promo. The roof was removed, and this roof was altered from a Monte Carlo and installed to fit. The hood was louvered, Plastruc strips were used to form the roof band and the strip around the roof base. The t tops are done using strips for the frame and Bare Metal Foil with window tint was used to simulate the glass. All the Johan 70's Olds promos had the same interiors, which were not correct. I hand sculpted the interior with Fimo clay to get the vertical lines in the seats and the front seat inserts, that are done in black. It has the Olds sport steering wheel, dual gate shifter, door pull straps and much more. The Photo etch dual gate plate, door locks, and trunk H/O emblem are from Scale Equipment LTD. The gold trim on the body is hand cut foil. Dual outside mirrors are correct Oldsmobile, as are the color coded wheels. The chassis is totally detailed with dual catalytic converters. Even though it is a model, I just could not bring myself to feed the dual exhaust out of one converter. It has the gold rocket 350 making it a W-25 car. Hand made W-25 fender emblems were added. There is way to many things to list them all. Look at the detail in the pictures. If you own a real one of these cars, you will understand that this is quite a correct model. this is not a cheap model to have built, but these are not mastered in resin so you would have the second one ever made. these were made in black or white, in a W-25 350 or a W-30 455.
