| Here are three different pro built 1/25th scale 1964 Mercurys. Two are breezeways and one is a marauder. They are all resin cast kits, and all are 4 dr. Parklanes. The colors are factory bittersweet and peacock. These were built for clients of mine. The engines used are the standard 390 ci. and the factory optional 427ci. dual quad. these kits were purchased from THE RESIN REALM. You can find that link in my link directory. The amt 64 Marauder is used for the doner kit. It you are doing the 427, you will have to find the correct valve covers. The dual quad setup is from a prestige 63 Ford galaxie. These, as all resin kits require a lot of test fitting and scratch building. They never just go together. With a little body modification, these could also be done as Montclair, or as sedans, by installing a center post. I think these are three really nice examples of a very popular car in its time. |
