This is an original issue AMT
1964 Pontiac Grand Prix. This car
was completely restored and
painted the factory color
Marimba Red lacquer. Special
attention to detail on the tail
light section to simulate the
hidden tail light look. Detailed
inside with hand painted
woodgrain accents, clear lucite
steering wheel, and foiled
throughout. I built this as a
curbside model, so I added an
engine plate.

The bumpers and 8 lug wheels
were sent out for new chrome to
"The Little Motor Kar Co" the best
chrome around.The grill area was
blacked out also. All outside trim
was Bare Metal Foiled. Chassis
shows good detail. Correct 1964
Minnesota plates were put on for
more realism, always a nice touch.

Grand Prix in 64 came with many
versions of the 389 engine and
the 421 engine.  3 dueces were
available on either engine.
Besides the automatic, a 3 and 4
spd floor shifter could be had.
These were pretty potent cars,
and were often seen on Sunday
at the dragstrip.
