This is an AMT  1962 Buick Electra
2dr. hardtop. This build took
countless hours to complete.
Many added options were
included to make this a true
standout. Reduced decals were
made for the grill insignia, trunk
shields and wheel centers. The
air cleaner was also done with
the 445 Wildcat emblem. All
decals were then covered in
clear liquid plastic for realism.

A complete air conditioning
system was added, complete
with condenser, pump,
evaporator, hoses, and the dash
ports. The engine bay was also
wired with Arrowhead Aluminum
Products distributor, and wires. It
was plumbed also.

Complete detail was done inside
and out using Bare Metal Foil.
The car was air brushed in the
factory color of Camelot Rose
and clear coated. A photo
etched electric antenna pod
was added, displayed in the
down position.

The 401 ci. engine was painted
the correct Hampton Blue. All
lettering on the body was foiled
before painting, then rubbed off
to reveal the letters. Black wash
was done on the hubcaps and
grill.

The chassis was completely
detailed showing the factory
over spray. 1962 Minnesota
license plate were added, along
with dual rear view mirrors.
