This is an original issue SMP 1960 Chrysler
Imperial convertible, kit# 88860 I built
this using the factory colors of Dusk
Mauve, and light mauve interior. It has the
correct black dash, side panels, and
tonneau cover.

I removed the parting lines on the bumpers
and sent them out for new chrome to
LITTLE MOTOR KAR CO. This guy does the
chrome in show quality, it just does not get
any better. The flitesweep deck or"toilet
seat" on the trunk was properly molded in.
The SMP kit came with a Lancer hubcap for
the center that is not correct, I replaced
that with the correct center. The center
insignia was made by shooting a picture of
the real insignia. I then reduced it to
1/25th scale, raising the dpi to 600 and
printing it as a decal. The same was done
on the tiny shields above the headlights.
The correct tiny crowns on the top sides of
the rear fenders were added, these are
hand painted.

The entire car was properly foiled and
detailed inside and out. Chrysler exhaust
pipe ends were added also. Correct 1960
Minnesota plates were added. Chassis is
completely detailed. Enlarge the pictures
to enjoy this classic beauty. This is a rare
47 year old kit of a car that was the
ultimate in style and luxury.
