This is a pro build 1958
Chevrolet Biscayne in 1/25th
scale. I started with resin body
from Bandit Resins. This guy
cast some really nice resin
bodies, check them out. You
can find the link by pushing the
kits and suppliers button on top
of any page.

I used an AMT 58 Chevy Impala
kit as a donor for some of the
parts. This car was built as a
sleeper, or Plain Jane. I added a
wired and plumbed 409ci.
engine with dual quads. The
Biscayne interior is done to
simulate red and black vinyl
leatherette with cloth. I scratch
built the correct Biscayne
steering wheel. It is completely
foiled and detailed, and
features a radio delete plate in
the dash.

The 409 is mated to a Muncie
4spd. It has a very detailed
chassis, with blackwall tires
and dog dish hubcaps. The
exterior is totally detailed,
foiled and painted in the
factory color of Rio Red. I
added the vintage 1958
Minnesota license plates also.
This is the type of cars we built
in high school back in the 60's
A plain wrapper with lots of
power.
