| This build is based on a clients real car from Ontario Canada. I started with another fine resin cast from Hendrix Mfg. He also supplied the factory continental kit and visor. The model is in 1/25th scale. I shot this in the Ford colors of Banner Blue, and Waterfall Blue. Wet sanded and rubbed to a shine. This depicts a rather rare combo. Factory visors were rare for 55. then add the tire kit and it is unique. Everything was foiled and trimmed properly to show realism. Interior is totally detailed from the real car. It has dog dish hubcaps with beauty rings. The wings crest on the continental kit is one I have never seen before. Maybe its a Canadian or aftermarket item, not sure. I replicated it using photo etched pieces. |
