| This is a pro built 1955 Ford Fairlane Club Sedan The car is a 1/25th scale resin cast model. I built it in stock form for a lady in New Jersey. She had this built as a birthday surprise for her husband, It depicts his real car. Girls, if your your guy is into cars, what a perfect gift for him. I sell a lot of cars to women. I started with a resin cast model kit, as this car was never made in a regular plastic model kit. It was airbrushed in black lacquer, and wet sanded, then polished to a mirror finish. The interior was completely reconfigured to depict the stock Club Sedan. It is hand painted and detailed to perfection. Note the green glass on the dash, that was used on the real car to light the numbers on the speedo during the day. Typical 50's futuristic stuff. This build was Bare Metal foiled inside and out. The engine bay shows a nice example of the 272 ci. Y block V8 engine used that year. It also has the factory fender skirts. Chassis is completely detailed. A AMT 1956 Ford kit was used as a donor For many parts. This 55 Ford is a Hendrix Mfg. resin cast model car. He creates some nice quality resin kits, many of cars that were never available in regular plastic model kits.
